Pathetic, cowardly, rubber spined “command staff” has already been bought by the DOJ. So, it is no surprise to me that they bend their knee whenever and however their master tells them. You are not the only one, brother! I stand shoulder to shoulder with you, and want you to keep preaching the truth!

That's a very Stoic mindset, we are not injured by what happens to us but by our opinion of what happens. If I refuse to be injured then I'm uninjured.

Proving once again that cowards fear hearing the truth. I cannot believe that happened to you but it also provided proof that the rank and file need this message and agree with. Being asked to leave because of your courageous message is a badge of honor, Travis. Thank you for what you're doing my friend.

Thank you Bryce. I want to be clear here as I pondered not writing this. This story is not about what happened to me because nothing happened to me. As my class "would" have discussed, I know who I am, what my purpose is, and WHO I follow. Nothing anyone can do to me can change that. If leaders do not know who they are, they will easily buckle at the first sign of trouble. Ultimately, I decided to write this to encourage others that want to follow the courageous path but concerned they are alone. Brother, I believe courage is the majority.

You really need to list the conference. I know you’re trying to be the better man, but people need to be responsible for their decisions. It also lets the rest of us that teach on the conference circuit to be wary about whom we teach for.

By the way, I was in Wisconsin this week and was helping mentor an officer that wants to start training outside his agency and your name came up. I advised him to take a look at the work you do and get started...stop waiting.

I understand Keith. I may do it but I have had a long standing relationship with the host, who was forced to do this and listing the conference would not place the blame on those pulling the strings in the background, but rather those coordinating the conference who are really good people working in a very terrible state. Despite what happened, the conference host brought me in for several years, exposing a few thousand to the message of courageous leadership and I pray that continues in a state that desperately needs it.

I can’t imagine that happening and I didn’t see it coming. Reading your article, I was in shock when I read that line. Great job chuckleheads in proving your point. I admire your composure and grace through this experience. Jeff and Bryce are totally correct. Bear it as a badge of honor. Classy move recording and sharing the rest of the class with the cops who will hopefully be in charge soon.
