A few years ago, I discovered a musician by the name of Aaron Lewis. While he had been singing for some time, I didn’t know about him until he sat on his couch with a guitar and sang a song called “Am I The Only One.” In the midst of the COVID Pandemic and all of the political nonsense that ensued, it was a viral song at the right moment in history that ended up being recorded and hit #1 on the charts overnight. Lewis went from singing in bars to stages and his name has become synonymous for standing up for the working man.
Pathetic, cowardly, rubber spined “command staff” has already been bought by the DOJ. So, it is no surprise to me that they bend their knee whenever and however their master tells them. You are not the only one, brother! I stand shoulder to shoulder with you, and want you to keep preaching the truth!
That's a very Stoic mindset, we are not injured by what happens to us but by our opinion of what happens. If I refuse to be injured then I'm uninjured.
Proving once again that cowards fear hearing the truth. I cannot believe that happened to you but it also provided proof that the rank and file need this message and agree with. You really need to list the conference. I know you’re trying to be the better man, but people need to be responsible for their decisions. It also lets the rest of us that teach on the conference circuit to be wary about whom we teach for.
I can’t imagine that happening and I didn’t see it coming. Reading your article, I was in shock when I read that line. Great job chuckleheads in proving your point. I admire your composure and grace through this experience. Jeff and Bryce are totally correct. Bear it as a badge of honor.
