Thank you, Travis, for exposing a practice that is going on in almost every organization. I mourn the loss of Integrity. Decisions are made daily based on protecting someone's position or reputation. Believe me it's not only in the Law-and-Order world. We have witnessed the same behavior in the Churches. It takes a courageous Leader to deal with scandals immediately and not just move a person around so that no one finds out and therefore protecting the reputation of the Church or Leader.
When people care more about the exterior appearance than the foundation based on Character, the building will collapse one day. Society has forgotten The value of Character. Integrity and Honesty helps us to move forward with confidence in a corrupt and declining society.
